(Bad) eating habits
(Bad) eating habits
The eating culture changed many times by time and food
scientists discovered many things being harmful for the human body or many
eating habits being useful to live in a safe way. I want to focus on bad eating
habits (such as eating fast food daily) and their consequences.
Imagine following daily eating habits without knowing that you will suffer the next years from different diseases caused by these habits.
Why do you get into a bad eating habits?
Many people don´t really decide on what they want to eat. They simply fall in a daily routine making several mistakes without knowing.
First, you have to know, that there are many unhealthy
eating habits you can get into, without knowing the consequences. An important
thing you have to watch out for is skipping breakfast. The main reason for NOT
skipping breakfast is that when you are “starving” for 12 to 18 hours a day and
then over-eat it´s causing that your body stores the energy of the food mainly
as fat, because the body can´t use the large amount of energy in such a short
time. Being obese is a big reason for getting an earlier heart disease. This is
only one of many bad eating habits.
Is it always safe, wehn you follow healthy eating habits?
Of course, there are more negatives of a bad eating
habit. Nevertheless, even if you follow a healthy eating habit: Watch out if
there are side effects making your life more difficult, you could have ever
imagined!
You probably know the main parts of living as a vegan
or vegetarian. Living as one of them might be nice for the environment but
there are many cases where this led to several difficulties, especially getting not all nutritions you need or being underweight. You might have
heard about babies being underdeveloped because of not getting all the nutrients to grow.
Is there a possibility to "cure"?
In the case, that you as yourself discover that your daily eating routine has side effects (e.g. being tired or weak), you should go to a doctor giving helpful advices. I say this because I heard about the fact, that many people, who have harmful eating habits, can´t stop with it (You can compare it with stopping to smoke). It is also useful to have a partner supporting you, when you try to change your way of eating.

In conclusion, you can clearly see that you have to
watch out for dangerous consequences even if you think, that your way of eating
is healthy. You should also open up and talk with a familiar person if you have
a eating problem.
Of course you can write a comment, if you want to ask something :)

Hi Gianluca!
ReplyDeleteI have read your comment and I have to say that I really liked it. First of all your structure was great! Your introducted well into the topic so the reader think about her/his own eating habits. You also described your facts very well and you gave examples like ´´many people, who have harmful eating habits, can´t stop with it (You can compare it with stopping to smoke.)´´I totally agree with the fact that you should´nt skip the breakfast because the consequences are enormous. All in all I have to say that I enjoyed reading your blog very much because of your structure and facts .
Great job! Tobias
I really like your blog entry and the idea behind that.
ReplyDeleteFirst you tell us the bad eating habits that we might have already heard about it. For example fast food or skipping breakfast. We all know that there are some. Fast food making you fat, breakfast is the most important meal on the day or something else. In addition to that you indicate us on the bad eating habits from vegan or vegetarian. No one would think there are some because everyone just hear to be vegan/vegetarian is healthy and healthy is always connected with awesome. But it´s not just that easy to be healthy there are consequences too.
Furthermore as a result you suggest to talk about your eating habits to cure them and for me that is a very good proposal. Talking helps against every think. The person you talk to can help you by looking at the problem from a other perspective and can clear your mind so you might calm down and go with it carefully.
An important point to consider is you can´t compare babies not getting all the nutrients with vegan/vegetarian not getting all nutrients. To my mind babies are not getting them because they been born with it, it is a illness. A vegan/vegetarian kind of decided that. They choose the problem and there is the huge difference. You can´t put them on the same level because the reasons are not the same even when they have the same problem.
At the end I want to underline your structure of the entry it was really effective. Every short topic sentence give us a short information of the following paragraph and your thoughts could I follow easily. In turn I had to admit your headline does not really interested me to read your article. It was very simple except of the point it fits to your blog name where a letter is into brackets like your word bad.
